This morning was my last Northern Beaches sunrise for a little while and though it wasn't as spectacular as I had hoped, God still painted a fairly adequate finale to 2010 for me. So after waking up at 4am to catch the bus to Collaroy, I was pretty happy with the results. Here they are...

Burleigh Heads/Currumbin swell festival

Last weekend was first 3 day weekend since forever! So a group of us went to the Gold Coast for some shenanigans. I managed to crawl out of bed at 4.30am to catch a bus to Burleigh Head for some great sunrise shots as well as a few from the Currumbin swell festival (sculpture). Hope you like em!

 

 

Newport/Narrabeen Lake

I know that recently I have been shooting pretty much in black & white, so this weeks ones include more colour shots for those who are more partial to them (of course I couldn't help a few sneaky B&W all the same). These were taken at Newport Beach and Narrabeen Lake (near Jamieson Park), one of the few places around northern beaches where sunset photos aren't half bad. Man I miss the west coast at times like these...
